It’s a new hair do!

February 10, 2013 By: Chris Lucas3 Comments

Well I thought it was time for a new hair do

I hadn’t spoiled myself at a hair salon since we moved back to Port Hedland which was on my birthday, 28th October 2011.

So off I trotted to the hair salon armed with the latest glossy mags (I like to take my own mags LOL)…. mind you I had been waiting for my hair appointment for well over 4 weeks as it’s so hard to get an appointment outside of business hours.  It’s a good sign that this must be a good salon.  By the way the salon is called Luke Paul and my hair stylist’s name is Aimie.

Here I am sitting looking pretty with the usual thoughts that run through you mind… “mmmm wonder what the colour will turn out like”, “hope they don’t botch my hair up”, “hope they don’t take too much off the length, “wonder how much this is going to cost me”… I’m sure I’m not the only one who has these thoughts when it’s the first time they’ve had someone do their hair that hasn’t done it before???  Am I?  I wonder?

Oh by the way I enjoyed 3 of those awesome cups of coffee… but I only had one of the cookies… talk about will power because I can tell you it was simply divine and I could have easily devoured way more of those little babies!

Here’s the end result after slogging it hard for 2 1/2 hours… geez it’s a hard life sipping on coffee and flicking through the glossy mags.

Chris Lucas New Hair Style

Well to say I’m thrilled with the outcome is an understatement… I love the style and the colour!  I’ve just found myself a fabulous new hair stylist who knows how to make my hair look fabulous!

Chris Lucas New Hair Do from the back

I think the back looks just as great… the colour is perfect and the layers have added so much body and bounce.

So how much did this new do cost me… all up for the cut, colour, and style, a bottle of shampoo and conditioner, it set me back $285 and you know what I think it was worth every penny and I’d pay it again it a heart beat.  Let’s face it the money I’ve been saving on buying clothes well and truly covers the cost of getting my hair done and then some… I can justify anything with sewing LOL

Now that I’ve found a great hair stylist that knows how to make my hair look amazing I’ll definitely be going back again.  Actually I’ve already made another appointment with Aimie in 4 weeks time to have my roots touched up (and of course another blow dry) as those darn greys just keep coming through hard and fast LOL.

Do you have a great hair stylist that knows how to style your hair?
